Top Ten

Okay so I have always wanted to make a list of the things that I want to do before I die. These do not have to happen before I'm a certain age, because I firmly believe that I will be a ball of fire even when I am at the ripe old age of 70! Okay here goes...

1. Learn to surf and scuba dive. Hopefully in Hawaii...

2. See the pyramids and the Nile.

3. Visit Australia and see the Outback with all of it's unique peoples and creatures.

4. Go to New Zealand and see where The Lord of the Rings was filmed!

5. Take a hot air balloon ride.

6. Pray in the Sacred Grove.

7. Road trip across the United States.

8. Go to an amusement park. (never been to one...)

9. Have a girl's day at a Spa.

10. Go to another country and serve those in need.

  1. It's great to set goals and have something to work toward! Good luck with them and hopefully I can help you reach some of them (#9 would be fun). I have some of the same goals too (#3,4,& 5). I've already done #7 and #8 but only since I've been married. You'll find you get a lot of fun opportunities when you're married. Love ya!

  2. Its cool you want to see the Pyramids and Nile. I'm Egyptian and I definitely think everyone should go to Egypt and see the sites. There are many different types of experiences you can have on the Nile. You can take a cheap ferry ride where its just a bunch of people crowded on a mediocre ferry, the nicer more expensive tourist aimed ferries with dinner and entertainment, or rent a private sailboat with a driver. Its a great experience. When going to the Pyramids, if you think about paying to go inside, take into consideration that the everything inside has been taken out and put in museums including the hieroglyphics on the walls. You could go to the Museum in Cairo. Be aware they don't allow cameras. Finally, bring a ton of cash because there is a big marketplace just for tourists with very sweet souvenirs. You can get things such as fancy perfume bottles, exotic jewelry boxes, a cartouche with your name in hieroglyphics, jewelry, and a ton of other things. I hope this is helpful if you do go. I'm probably going next year to see family.
